Working at the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court offers a wide range of career options, both legal and non-legal. All the Court employees are integral to the Court serving the community and providing access to justice. The Court currently employs 60 staff in judicial support roles and 30 staff in administrative roles.

Current employment opportunities for judicial support staff will be listed on this page as they arise. The Court welcomes applications from suitably qualified people.

Applications for 2026 Associateships at the Supreme Court of Western Australia are now closed. Please note other positions may be advertised on an ad hoc basis throughout the year.

The Court also employs a number of people in administrative roles in the Western Australian public service through the Department of Justice. You can search for vacancies on the government jobs website.
