Media accreditation for reporting in Western Australian courts is required. To obtain accreditation please download the application form and email it to the Manager, Media & Public Liaison for the Courts. Please attach to your email a colour photograph for the issue of an identification card.
Before submitting your application, please ensure you have read the below guidelines.
The Supreme Court of Western Australia issues media statements which are made available to the media through the Manager, Media and Public Liaison. This officer routinely advises members of the media on issues relating to Court reporting, including suppression orders, judges' sentencing remarks and the delivery of judgments.

The Court has developed a policy to assist media in applying for a copy of an exhibit and a basic guide for media representatives reporting in Western Australian courts.
